Corporation Balwadi gets a facelift

Corporation Balwadi (Child care center) at Saidapet has been in a depleted condition for quite some time. The local team lead by young Aravindan, an aspiring Charted Accountant and an active social worker, got the compound wall and inside walls cleaned up and requested Karam Korpom to give it a face lift.

On 9.4.2023, Karam Korpom team along with few local volunteers and members of Volunteer for India joined hands and transformed the 2000sq ft area in few hours. A huge group of local kids were watching, encouraging and cheering our volunteers, uplifting their energy levels.

The event was excellently organised and conducted by Aravind and Team. The support and the enthusiasm of the local people were commendable. This again goes to prove the point that if few motivated people come forward to do something good, there will be many to follow and support. This was certainly one of the most satisfying projects for KKF.
