Karam Korpom’s 75th project!

With great satisfaction, Karam Korpom completed its 75th milestone project at Akshaya Trust old age home at Velappanchavadi.

Akshaya Trust has been providing new life for more than 120 destitute senior citizens at their free old age homes located at Mudichur, Pallikaranai, Valasaravakkam and Palavakkam. In order to support 150 more destitute seniors, Akshaya Trust has taken up another place at Velappanchavadi near Thiruverkadu.

Karam Korpom wished to do it’s bit by creating a joyful and positive environment for the senior citizens. On 16th April 2023, after a full day of effort by around 30 volunteers, the huge wall art came to life. Despite the challenges of the huge size, height, working on scaffolding, and limited space to move around, KKF team could complete the project on time and with a good quality.

This new home is scheduled to get inaugurated on 7th of May. The details of the events are given in the picture below. Those of you who wish to visit Akshaya Trust new old age home may do so and get the blessings from the deserving senior citizens.
