Old age home gets new age look

Karam Korpom team has always been looking for challenges. We believe in raising the bar everytime. Last weekend, there was an opportunity to take up something that we had never done before, painting a set of large faces on the renovated three storied building of Akshaya Trust Old age home at Mudichur. The challenge was to paint standing on scaffoldings to cover the heights. Apart from restricted moving space, height, the size of the faces, the most difficult part was getting the proportions right without stepping back to check. It was like a blind shooting. Though it was tough, the final outcome was quite satisfying. We could complete the work in two half days with a dedicated team of just 8 volunteers.Thanks to Akshaya Trust for the opportunity, excellent hospitality and support.
