Colourful Independence Day

How do you celebrate Independence day? Karam korpom Foundation’s way of celebrating is to give back what we owe to our City, a clean and beautiful environment.On this Independence day, KKF volunteers took up the wall art at R.K Nagar, 2nd cross road, a corner which used to be the dump yard for the whole area. TAKSRA and RKNAGRAA, the two Resident Associations got the place transformed by cleaning up the platform, ensuring one side parking and greening the street with flower pots and creepers. The wall art too was organised by them.KKF volunteers along with few residents of R.K. Nagar started the wall art early in the morning and completed in about 3 hours. The result is a stunning and so colourful corner that no one would think of littering again. Thanks to TAKSRA Bala and Mr.Kailasam of 2nd cross street for their excellent support in carrying out the project. Thanks to all the KKF volunteers who once again put in their heart and soul in creating this beautiful art. It was a meaningful way of celebrating 75th Independence day.
