Transformation of Anna Nagar Crematorium
Back to back for three weekends, Karam Korpom volunteers were busy transforming public spaces. Last weekend, it was the long compound wall of the Crematorium at Officer’s colony, Anna Nagar West. Last Saturday (21 Aug 21), about 25 volunteers gathered at 7.30 in the morning and started the wall art work. But by 9.00 am what started as a light drizzle, soon became a heavy rain and lasted for more than 90 min. The project had to be abandoned for the day. We continued again on Monday with handful of volunteers, stayed for the entire day and completed the wall art. Thanks to the Anna Nagar West Extension Welfare Association for sponsoring the expenses and extending a great support in completing the project. Thanks to all volunteers who lent their hands in completing this long stretch of art work.
